With the hoods we have, is there anyway possible to do a custom cowl induction on our trucks close to what the 69 first gen camaros had? Just wondering on the way home if that could be a possibilty.........

With enough $$$$$$$ anything is possible.

I don't know of anyone that makes a functional cowl induction setup. There are replacenet fiberglass hoods that have the cowl induction look.

My cowl hood is vented in the back so one could make it functional. Just need to seal the underside and run the opening to the hood. I would think better results at the track(if any) would be had with the good old remove the headlight approach.

They make RAM AIR hoods that are functional for our trucks.......and would probably give better air gains than a cowl. I have a cowl on mine, and the only thing it does is basically look good, and probably lower engine compartment heat a bit, as i took out the insulation lining. Would definetely like to ram more air into the intake as i need it...........the 5000 is sucking the filter minder in a fair bit.
