My truck was a victim this weekend and my PPE was stolen. With a tune already on the truck, will I be able to hook another programmer up? Anything to be concerned with?
Thanks in advance.

Can't you just find someone with Efi live or hptuner & flash a stock tune of the same year truck in there... If you had a buddy that has either one.. Money would be better spent give it to them to register your truck with them.. Then they could help you tune it later one...

call ppe and let them know what happened and tell them the seriel number on the tuner if you know. they person who stole it will probably send it to ppe and get it unlocked. it they can

This isn't a recommended course of action. While the base file may be the same, the ECM reflash process also changes a range of data specific to the vehicle it was written for and it's options.

As an example, if you full flash a truck that has climate control with the file from a truck that doesn't, your Air Conditioner will cease working. There are another 3 or 4 items like this that will cause anomolies in the vehicle, however it's all option compatibility dependant.

We recommend that you either confirm that the options between the vehicles are identical, or obtain the correct stock file using a TECH II and TIS.
