I am getting a 2010 GMC dually and want to put a bradford built work bed on it. the truck comes with a backup camera and sensors in the bumper. Is it going to be possible to put them in the flat bed? I know I can just drill holes, but I don't know how the factory stuff is held in the bumpers and such. Anyone done it or know how the sensors are held in the bumper?

I think FAB four Bumpers has provisions for it in their bumpers. You might want to give them a call and see what they say.

thats what I am thinking. I have their bumper on my 07 but its a front so it has no sensors.

With a little imagineering, anything is possible. The Park assist sensors are simply in round(ish) holes, and should be mounted at a similar height and widths for best performance. And the BU camera simply snaps into the tailgate handle bezel, so again, emulate the mounting lug(s) and use similar placement.

If you haven't tried the BU camera monitor in the rearview mirror, all I can say is...........SWEeeEET, but no override yet (for going forward while lookin' back).

I think they are just drilled holes. They will probably pop right out and then back in to the new holes in the flatbed.

I like the bradford beds too - am looking at buying one soon for the old ford.
