do you guys run stacked or a big tune for daily use? i am running a 215 quad and juice and would like to leave it in except when towing big loads. what are the cons to running it full time as long as egt's stay down? thanks

What levels are you using with your chips and is it a edge hot juice

I run mine on 215 even towing (7500lbs) with HJ on 0-0. Then like MaddDogg said-just turn up the edge in a snap for a smokin good time. That way its always accessible on the fly.

JMO but the less bouncing of powerlevels you do the better for the allisons sake. If you can live with the drivability of what ever you are running then leave her set to kill. I run with the Xtreme daily except when I hit the highway I will click it down to the 80 tune.

I agree rat. I am doing it this way to try and get at least 10,000mi out of my tires. I have no self control.:o:

i am running quad on 215 and juice on 125. i don't have an attitude. the driveability is fine i was just wondering if it's hard on anything to always have it cranked up. i don't have a ppe because i had the juice already and i gave my dealer back a predator and they gave me the quad 215 straight across. ppe is also overpriced, at least in canada.

i am not trying to change the the topic or anything but when you stack the quad 215 on the edge does the mpg drop compared to just running the edge?

I dont mean to be a smart azz, but most with stacked power adders get terrible mpig! You get good mileage with a 60hp tuner cuz its not as much fun. Just my experience.

In all honesty I think the mpg should be ok if you just idle down the road.

terrible ? Baa..... I get nearly 20mpg on the highway with my 4x4 while running Quad on 215 and Edge H/J on level 2. I do not move the settings.
Good enough for me

That may be true gmc. driving like YOU drive. I drive like a...... well..... idiot. Maybe thats MY problem.:D When I have it turned up i tend to "show off" more than if I turn it down. Best I ever got was 14 mpig hwy unloaded.

Is the PPE for the LB7 putting out more power to the ground than the Bastard stack?

PPE gets very low 13's, I think the NUT is in the high 12's.

Im Having To Spray Mine With A Lil Fun Stuff To Get Into The 12's. I Think The High Density Altitude Is Playing A Big Roll In Not Being Any Quicker With A 108 Mph.

i run a 500plus stack all the time, i tow as well, mileage seams to be better than stock, with lp on, but keeping an eye on the egts is a must on the grades

My fuel Milage is WAY better running the 215/edge stack than just running solo.

The timing rattle was a bit too much for me to run the stack all the time. I ran the Edge Hot by itself for every day driving, and stacked for competition. Now with my current setup all I have to do is flick the switch for instant fun!
