I have an 06 LBZ. I want to do quite a few mods on it but i didnt know if anybody knew how much you can do as far a horse before you have to start tearing into the motor. I heard it can handle quite a bit but i dont want to push it. The tranny upgrades are already comin.

Some trucks have gone 700+ rwhp on stock bottom ends. Some have spit out pistons at less then what I have. I'm going to be replacing my internals soon b/c I want to push the truck further without worrying about the motor crapin out on me.

I would keep it below 500 rwhp but that still doesn't guaranty that it won't "pop"...

I beleive its how you drive it that has a lot to do with it too.

Mine runs super and has been reliable and has had 500 + RWHP tunes on it for over 2 years.

I have fun with it, but dont beat every time im in it. But i dont baby it either.:)

Yeah true. I have EFI Live on it right now at a pretty aggressive setting. I hope the tranny holds up till i get upgrades. Not in it all the time but i like to give her hell. Thats what ive heard about these LBZ s is the pistons. That what im worried about.
