I was curious what programmers have been known to make the most improvement in gas mileage.

They all do somewhat, usually 1 or 2 mpg, if you can keep your right foot off of the floor

The ones used by old men.:joke: I'm sure their all good on lowest setting & light foot. I get better mileage with the edge than my hypertech, if i keep my foot out of it & low boost fueling on 2. A couple of times I came up with just over 17 around town versus 16.

Hot Juicing our truck, which is definitely owned by one of the "old men" already slandered in this thread ;) , has consistently yielded 1 - 1.5 better mpg than the truck run with the stock program ... haven't found much difference in mileage (definite difference in fun factor) between running the Juice in the 60 or 90 hp setting ... towing mileage improvement with program set at 60 hp is 1.5 - 2 mpg

I gained just under 2 mpg with the 6-Gun on level 2 - that's if you drive it like you did BEFORE the upgrade.

With my Juice set on Level 3 around town of been getting in the upper 18's to low 19's driving without getting on it stop light to stop light. Level 2 with Tow/Haul towing 38 foot toyhauler 11-12 used to get around 9 stock. It has definately increased the MPG. Level 3 seems to get the best mileage IMHO..Jim

I have tried every setting on the Quad 135, reg. Juice, Predator 120, TST powermax, and upto 165 on the new Quad. No mater how I drive, I have never had an increase at all in mileage, and I keep a detailed log of every oz of diesel I use/buy.

And every programmer/tuner on higher settings lower fuel mileage every time, with no exceptions.

Propane is the only power adder that increased mileage, but when adding the amount of propane used, mileage did not go up at all.

How many of you guys seeing the mileage increases are hand calculating with pen and paper vs. using the computer MPG display on the dash?

Just wondering, can programmers throw off the computer MPG calculation/calibration?
