So I read the many threads on the leaky yokes similar to this one:
http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=287000
Went ahead and took the driveline off my truck including the slip yoke which goes into the transfer case. Only problem is I don't see anything that looks like a frost plug, or anywhere oil would leak out. Where is this plug supposed to be?
Pics of my yolk, I assumed the plug would be down in between the u-joint and the top of the yolk but I don't see anything that looks like a plug..sorry for the crappy cell pics but its all I have with me right now. Any help would be appreciated.

Probably a bushing bearing or seal in the TCase. I've heard of these being replaced before on here. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in n help you.

This should be the outer edge.

Thanks, hard to see how oil could leak out of there but I will seal it up and see what happens. Any idea if there is an updated or newer part out there that does not have this troublesome plug??

Just finished fixing mine. I used JB weld and then top coated it with RTV. I will let you all know how it turns out. In your picture why is the shaft part that goes into the transfer case half rusted? Mine is shiny the whole way up. I knew mine was leaking because it was all wet around that area. Use brake cleaner to get all the oil off before you fix it and spray some inside the shaft and see if it leaks around the plug. Mine started bubbling out when I filled it with brake cleaner. Make sure you clean the area very well that will make or break your chances of sealing the leak. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

The rust is probably because my truck is lifted so that portion of the shaft is exposed while yours if not lifted that part of the shaft is covered. I did clean mine with break cleaner as suggested and wiped it down several times. I then used some of that permatex ultra copper RTV as it was the best stuff I had. Hopefully it works....

Keep us updated on your luck. Mine is leaking again but I think it is because I had to drive my truck after I fixed it and it only got to set up for about an hour. I am going to redo it again and let it sit for 8 hours this weekend.
