Most post here are about problems and such, having made a few inquiry here myself , and good info from the ressources/faq from the site , i tought i made you guys know. and even if i did the job. i thought about saying a nice , thanks yall, my ride has gone from skidrow to skid marks .

- mixed two injection pump to make a working one (not same electrical plug)
- changed fuel line from the lift pump to the filter base , it used to be cut in half and had a rubber line over it, now one piece
- cleaned everything , egr , intake , everything.
- changed all rubber hoses to new. about 40 $ worth of hoses...
- repair my old filter base , by mixing parts of two : took the fuel pres sens ( round thing in the middle) and graft it to my old one, the newer had pipes where mine didnt and couldnt go where mine was... so i took the broken piece and swap it.
- revised the whole vacuum system ( littke hoses were cut at manyplaces, even if its only for my back heater, and air filter assy, i tought it would make a difference solving all problems my ride had...

how i did my bleed :
- lift pump was installed with line to filter base, i didnt put much care in fulling the line to the filter base.
- emptied my old filter , and filled it up again, then stack it in there.
...
- all my injectors where about a 1/4 turn , i cranked, about 5 times with delay
- the ones that juiced , i proceeded in tightened them up
- the motor talked , was about to start
- did the same till all injectors where wet and then tightened them
- once all tightened , the motor started on first try.

i used to have to crank it about 10 times before a clean start. now it just scream for asphalt.

thanks , the sound is louder than it used to be actually , a clean intake / egr / pvc helps a lot.

forgot to mention a cool thing , i have two batteries , but when i did the smoke test, i only use the front one, the one under the cab (that i displaced in the cab at the back of the driver seat) was disconnected during the whole thing. im completely satisfied with the 28MT starter . leaves me lot of overhead for an inverter and many domes lights that i have added.

came back from a few rides. and i runs really nice. i suspect i could bleed lines a little more , or have a chatter test on the inectors i notice a little delay in a fire from time to time. now way WAY better than the 4m stalls that i used to have all the time.

to celebrate this i will order that 30mm injector remover bit.

i think you are about at the same step in your project(s) , hope you much success too

You give me hope. I've got the whole fuel system out of mine now, so I'm looking forward to that reassembly. Particularly nice to see that it refired relatively easily. I cheat and vacuum the filter port but still will have to get the air pst the pump.

i have a tp sensor on the side of my pump . three wires , and a well written THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR on the side. its adjustable too. its the 2nd mechanical 6.2 ip equipped with this sensor in my possession.


please, past messages where apreciated , but if your to question my gazillion piece of info compared one to an other in order to troubbleshoot this , at least be aware that your arent the only piece of info i have on the matter, i simply ask to clear a few things. so adding personnal view on the matter sometimes helps. but telling me what i dont have in front of me , after i spent days looking and cross ref to make shure DOESNT HELP.

remember i have lots of guides, dont add misc info to this, . 6.5 ? i have a 6.2 . how can you say i have no pcm ? really last mesg, why you talk about the ip's adjustement on the side ? i have info elsewhere on that , beside telling me if dirts in the injectors its then foobar , the rest is not helpfull skipping
