GM is getting ready to come out with one heck of a tow vehicle for travel trailers and other such trailers ... I didn't see where they mention the transmission they will link it with, sure hope it will be an Allison

Seeing how it's detuned from current ratings,they could put probably the tranny of their choice behind it,perhaps a Allison!

So if GM is doing this to the vans in their fleet, when will they be putting the Dmax in the Suburbans? I think that would be one heck of a vehicle. All that diesel power, seating capacity of 9, and the proven smoothness of the Suburban. (I own 2 subs so that is why I am a little biased).
