Not a whole lot of posts on here about this exhaust. Anyone have any comments?

Local place has one in stock for 585 turbo back.

I had one wayback but i sent it back because it didn't fit right. Remember you pay for what you get. It's a hard lesson to learn. dave

I bougtht the stainless 4", It sounds more like a big block gasser. The kit comes for all truck sizes I think, I had to cut some pipes to get mine to fit, I was not to impressed on how it fit when I was done, pipe rubbs spare tire but I here this about alot of the systems, hits the shock when going over bumps and also it is very close to the tranny cooler line. Other than these mine tucked up under the frame so you could not really see any of it sagging down wich is good. They also use the stainless strap clamps or band clamps that you see on semi trucks for all the joints. A couple of mine allow the exhaust to move a little bit wich I do not like. Also there is a little resonance inside the truck, instructions sucked.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I think I'll hold off on the Bullydog. I'm gonna look at the TTS I think. I'm really not interested in making the truck louder, I just want to get the EGT's down.

Good call on the wait. I am not impressed with mine at all. It didn't even come close to fitting, the down pipe was angled down and to the center on the truck too much so it hit the trans. frame support and then the drive shaft further back. Ended up getting Bully dog to send me another down pipe with the same results. So called back and got another with same results. I was sick of dealing with it then so I just took it down to an exhaust shop and told them to make it fit. The ended up hacking the down pipe up, cutting and repositioning the hangers, and they still couldn't get it to fit good enough to where it wouldn't rub the spare tire. But the sound is great! It has a distinctive sound compared to other dmax's I've heard, but there is a resonance in the cab at about 1800 rpm, like rcr said. mine was $370.00 before the install so I guess I got what I paid for :(
