Ok my 83 6.2 2wd manual 1 ton dump truck had got quite the leak now... its comming from the oil cooler lines that go into the motor and I called the dealership and they cant diagnose which is the inlet and outlet so I just need to know what the hose closest to the filter is. since that is the one that is leaking and I replaced the O-ring yet that didnt fix it.

Inlet P/N 12472199 @ $62.15
Outlet P/N 12472200 @ $73.36

2 dealers and same price, they wont order 2 and send one back Censored and my shop manual doesnt tell the inlet/outlet it just shows the cooler lines and the schematic suck so I cant see which is which

Thanks fellas!!

If one line is leaking, the other will start soon. Replace them both. Or, remove cooler line and cut off crimp. Go to an auto parts store that makes A/C lines and have them crimp on a/c hose and crimps to your ends,or remove crimp and install 2 stainless hose clamps.:grd:

Right now its just comming from the one that is closest to the filter and its leaking from the nut/fitting then once its curves up and over the frame it goes to braided steel hose

Ill just replace them both prolly

Thanks DC!!

If it is leaking from the nut fitting, the o-ring isn't seating propperly. Remove the leaking line and inspect the o-ring and the o-ring seats, could be a burr or a crack. The fitting in the block could also be the problem. I jumped the gun a little since the crimps are usually what leaks.:grd:
