I have an '02 LT. The drivers armrest (leather seats, vinal armrest) has cracks where my elbow rides...

How is this repaired / replaced? Anybody else have this problem??

Thanks --

Jeff

You can order a new armrest from the dealer. They are NOT cheap. They have a pin (about 1/2" dia.) that is held into the seat back with a clip that is the same as the ones GM used to use on window cranks. Kind of horseshoe shaped. You can pull the clip with needle nose pliers and pull the armrest off.

Push in on the seat back fabric/leather where the armrest pivots and you should see the clip.

BiteMe, if the seat and or arm rest just needs a new cover give http://www.katzkin.com a try to see if they have a pattern for your truck. I had a set made for my MB easy to install and looked just like new. There are other aftermarket seat cover places also.

The cloth one I got for my '95 was just over $100.
