Now that I have got the Edge, exhaust, intake. Power in the beginning was great. Now I feel slow (after driving awhile). I have a problem with mashing the throttle. Every time I do it I hear the perverable bomb falling. How are some of you getting by with the truck in Level 5 racing between lights?? I mean, when I pull up to the light and see a Ford/Dodge in the next lane I want to (try) throw smoke at him. Problem is, my truck dosent throw smoke unless I punch-it & downshift and there is not allot of smoke. ??

Yes if I get a Tranny upgrade then I guess can throw the Fuel MPG calcs out the door. If I get a upgrade do you have to still watch how you drive (as far as power).? I dont want to be the fastest on the road but I would like to command respect (does that make sense?)

If you continue on level 5 you'll be getting the trans done sooner than later.

Trans upgrade wioll not throw off mpg calcs. Not sure if I am missing something here...

Try racing at the local speedway. Gets it out of your system in a hurry.

Depends on the upgrade. If you do a SC IV or a ATS IV with a tripple disc TC you'll have to throw a ton more hp at it to hurt it.

What do you mean by bomb falling? Is this the TC getting forced to unlock due to the power? I ran on level 5 for the past two weeks solid before the tranny limped. I've played on 5 now and then for months before this. Some seem to limp faster than others but limping the tranny is inevitable when playing with decent power additions.

Edge dosnt smoke much.....you can get it to smoke but it wont billow. Milage dosnt really go down with mods.....as long as you keep your foot outa it. I have a level 5 sun coast and drive in Xtreme daily. Duno what exactly you are asking? If you wana play you gota pay. If you wana be upper tier on the street around you you will need a trans and a big program.
