Does anybody know the difference between the cooling upgrade kit offered by SS diesel supply and the one offered by Heath diesel? Prices are both about the same....one comes with a HO water pump, the other doesn't. Both have crossover pipes. Anyone?

Other than they're totally different, you mean? The one from SS Diesel is the dual thermostat upgrade with the high volume pump, and such parts. The one from Heath Diesel is a coolant balance kit that uses a coolant reservoir above the driver side valve cover and taps into the rear of the heads to flow coolant more evenly.

FYI,
Here's a link to photos I took when upgrading my 95 cooling system and doing the DSG gear install:

The main drawback to the HO crossover is it limits accessability to the IP.

The HO is more in the way of the IP, but at least it doesn't get in the way of the "Optic Bump". I got the SSDiesel kit brand new on ebay from some guy who bought it but never installed it. The kit was great, but I didn't use the supplied 180 t.stats I used Robertshaws 195's from Kennedy. Two of the water fitting that are not supplied would not come out of my old crossover manifold so I had to buy them one was $10 and the other was $3.

I got the upgrade with larger fan from SS Diesel for my 94 Blazer been great so far. Temp runs about 180 in stop and go traffic 165 or so on the open road. I know the one from SS you'll have to do a little grinding on the ALT bracket so the cross over will fit. Dremel tool takes longer but to me is easier.
