You can make it yourself or you can probably have it shipped across the boarder from Kennedy Diesel or Heath Diesel.

Yeah, I ordered mine from Heath Diesel too. You are much closer to them than I, so shipping shouldn't take as long.

TM is coming from Bill Heath.
John Kennedy prefers tweaking vacuum actuated systems

Kennedy does offer a TM though.

As far as one in Canada though, AFAIK, you'll have to build one, have someone build one, buy a used one, or have one shipped across the boarder.

do you have a welding shop near by. a napa auto parts. i could run in to mine get part numbers for the pieces and see if i still have an old diagram of the ones i made. so all you have to do is cut them out and put it together

First I would like to thank dtreid for this post.:D I too am looking for one, I didn't want to have one shipped from the US because to get it across the border, they, (the shipping companies), charge just as much to get it across than it did to buy the ruddy thing. Thus having to pay twice as much just to get it here.

Second I thank you MissionScott for the info, I'm just waiting on my Autometer boost and pyro gauge, so I don't over do it. I would hate to kill my engine before I actually enjoy it. :D

nice to hear. here in northern Ontario there just over $200 a little much. that is why i built it. i was saving for a heath ship. but thats on hold for now. don't forget to put in a pyro and boost gauge to keep track of the temps and boost.

Aren't there a bazillion how to threads on making your own here? Frankly, I think $100 for a piece of metal with a spring on it is completely frickin outrageous. I'll be building mine...

Super easy to build I agree. Of course I had a friend make mine while I visited hahaha. Nice to have friends.

But like others have said, do buy a boost gauge so ya don't get all excited with all the new found power and blow the heads off your truck.

I put 0$ into mine, and got paid to make it....

Don't ya just love it when the manager says "find something for now" then never comes back to give ya a job to do? :D

I don't have mine on the truck though... Found very little difference in the seat of the pants between it and the vac system, except the vac system didn't make me defuel every time I go on the highway....

HAHAHAHAHA! Damn, thats about the funniest way I've seen someone say "don't overboost" :p: Nice one.

 There are WAY too many posts and pics on homemade TM setups. If you want to buy somebody else's efforts, go for it. You may want to pay someone to install it and calibrate it, as they all need to be set with an ACCURATE boost gauge under load. I had to readjust mine 3x at first, then 1 more time after some months; wife got a SES turbo code. Lowered the boost s l i g h t l y more, no more codes; :D

Nice collection of diesels, dtreid.
