I am going to build a 2005 3/4 ton Silverado D/A truck into a Lightning Killer.

I need to lower it.
I need to beef up the suspension, antiroll and shocks. Panhard and torque arm possibly.
Might need more front brakes.
Need ground effect.
Will regear it to go 145mph.
Need rims and tires.
Need weight reduction.
And need 450HP (the easy part).

Yes, it's a stupid idea. But it should be fun trying.

You don't need to lower it to kill lightnings!

Tranny Upgrade 3-5000$
Xtreme Program 1200$, will eliminate the speed limiter.
If you really want to kill them add some N20 600$
Get some tie-rod sleeves100$, and better shocks 250$.

With this set-up dialed in your ready for low 12's, and maybe high 11's.:ro) Bye, Bye to Mr Lightning.:cool2:

On edit: Crap, just realized you have an LLY, in that case get the new PPE hot XL, stack it with a VA harness box, instead of an Xtreme(not avail. for LLY), you'll still be in the 12's with this setup.

Talk to McRat, he has a 2 wd LLY now and it's going the same direction but w/ more power.

Don't need tierod sleeves on a 2wd either.
