I just installed the finger stick and egr blocker plate. I now have a loud whine when I floor it. It sounds like a loose belt at high speed. Is this the turbo? I noticed that the boost gauge on the attitude is reading 23+, when I hear the whine. If it is the turbo is taht normal? Thanks for your help.

I got an 2005 LLY and I boast over 30 with the attitude. Banks Enginneer told me that have tested them above 40 psi. I dont think its anything to worry about but the whine I got no idea!

Mine also has the noise. It sounds like you are putting it in park at 80 MPH. Is this the Turbo bark they talk about???

check to see if its leaking around the blocker plate. mine was, reinserted the blocker plate, retightened the nuts, sound went away. you could also see black soot where it was leaking and when i took out my plate it you could see the soot where it was blowing by.

Not as bad on the outside as it is on the inside IMO. Easier to clean on the outside unless you are going for that particular look.
