AGGAR 08-30-2009, 06:32 PM How much did you weigh in at???? lol
gasuout 08-30-2009, 06:40 PM Sorry about the F bomb at end of vid . Forgot to warn you all if kids are in earshot . One of my friends exited for me .
The truck weighs 11,800 lbs and I had 10 90 lb. bags of concrete up against tailgate . Didnt get on the scales as I was exhibition . So 12,700 lbs . is my honest guess .
It was a walk in the park till the weight transfered , then holy crap do you feel it drag you down . I let it pull me to a stop and let off the throttle . Still killed the motor with converter locked .
Pulled it 302 ft. :thumb:
mmangels22 08-30-2009, 06:43 PM Nice one of these days I will get a Kodiak, those trucks are pure BA.
gasuout 08-30-2009, 06:49 PM Another link from phone but at end of track . Poor quality but there will be more .

gasuout 08-30-2009, 08:24 PM Thanks brother . I think I need to hang some weight off the front after looking at vids .
gasuout 08-30-2009, 08:25 PM Did well though for first pull . I have a bigger turbo soon so there will be more HP also to turn up the rpm and wheel speed next time out . Looking for another pull to go to up north of me soon .

Papuller86 08-31-2009, 09:35 AM dam man i cant tell whats bigger your truck or the sled LOL nice job!!!
AGGAR 08-31-2009, 12:17 PM What was your wheel speed? Looked like about 24-25.
gasuout 08-31-2009, 01:38 PM Not really sure about mph , but it felt like I was moving pretty good . Never looked at the gauges or the speedo . I matted it and enjoyed the ride . :D
jtyler4570 08-31-2009, 02:12 PM Yeah your run was pretty impressive, I was at the end of the track and loved the sound of your boost release at the end of your run. I was on the blade mixing the track, I thought the track was a little dry, what did you think?
Devyl Inu 08-31-2009, 02:16 PM I would post my video, but it's pretty much just like Tony's and Garrett's since I was standing right there with them.
Did you ever figure out if that was a 2wd run or 4wd run? Looking at my video it doesn't look like your front tires are spinning.

Yea it was definately dry . You can see the white smoke off the tires at the end of the run . Thanks for preppin the track for all of us . It was still a good surface to me . :) Much Appreciate the work you put in out there .

I think I was turnng all 6 . The fronts just didnt have any weight on them . If you look really close on a few of the vids you can see the tires move on take off and kick up some dirt along the way a bit . I think I was just so ass heavy that there wasnt much weight on the front tires . I checked the hubs and the driveline for being locked after and it was . Sure didnt feel like it at the end of the run . Sled stopped me dead in my tracks . :D
Post the vid on youtube and the link here if you want anyways . All footage is good footage . I was using this thread to post all the footage I found of the runs .

Thanks, I kept telling the man in charge it needed more water but they were afraid of getting it too slick. I read about your truck awhile back and when I saw a big kodiak on the lineup I was pretty sure it was you. I told everyone if this who I think it is, its gonna be good. You didn't fail to impress, keep it going and hope to see you next year.
WI Huck 08-31-2009, 10:33 PM Next time put the weight up in the cab as far forward as you can. The sled will take care of the traction in the rear. Nice job.
gasuout 08-31-2009, 11:11 PM Thanks , you are right there . Had 10 90 lb bags at tailgate . Should have put them in the truck on passenger floor board . You can see it was all rear tire doing the work in vid . Not even sure that would have helped much and it needs to be way out front .
I liked the pulling and want to do it again .
Farmer Dave 08-31-2009, 11:25 PM Nice pull. You win the award for most camera angles ever at a pull.:D
gasuout 08-31-2009, 11:32 PM hahahahaha ..... Ya ...... you giving it out .
Alot of friends there cheering for me and all shot vid . Figured I would put them all here in this thread . Some are better than others . Still waiting on one from the stands too . :D
