That safe place I wrote down the radio theft deterrent code faded to the point where I can't read it. The dealership wants 45.00; seems alot. I made 2 attempts to reset and stopped. How do I get the code? Any help? Thx, Tim

Do a search on the subject and you will find that there is a process to go through to get a "number".
Then post the number and one of the techs can look it up for you.
Good luck.

If your radio has the Theftlock® logo on it;
<LI type=1>Turn the ignition off. <LI type=1>Turn the radio off. <LI type=1>Depress and hold Pre-set buttons 2 and 3. <LI type=1>Write down the first three digits that appear on the radio display.
Depress AM/FM, write down the second three digits that appear on the radio display.
Post the six digit number and one of the techs will call it in and get a radio back-up code.<LI type=1>Use the hours and minutes buttons on the radio and install the 4 digit "Radio Back-up Code".
Depress the AM/FM button. "SEC" should display.

Does this work on a swap or is something different required? I want to swap my single Disc for the 6 Disc.

03 and newer model radios require programming when swapping
