I am rather tall and would love to be able to slide the driver seat further back for a more comfortable driving position. I have the 6 way power seat option. Any tall guys out there that have found a solution? Bolting the seat frame further back seems difficult / impossible.....:thankyou2

AussieDMAX,

Just how tall are you? I'm 6'3" and I have the seat set about an inch forward from the farthest point back. I find that adjusting the seat height and tilt gives me a good riding position. I suppose a man taller than I would have some issues with adjustability.

Aznap,
I am actually only 6'1". My truck may not be comparable as mine is obviously converted to right hand drive (we drive on the left here in OZ). Seat is probably in the same position but pedals may not (ie placed more forward so less distance to the seat). Indeed adjusting height and tilt is what I do. No easy fix I guess. Thanks for your response!

I'm 6' 1" and I don't have power seats, but I have mine slid all the way back and could use another notch rearward also. Maybe I'm long-legged.

I had an S-10 in my youth, and a van conversion factory actually moved by driver seat back 2" by making custom mounts. Wasn't cheap, but was a lot cheaper than a new truck.

Thanks for your response. Could the difference be that you have a CC as well? Aznap has an Ext Cab. Maybe the Ext Cab seat can be slid further back??

All cab styles have the same seats... The regular cab is limited in rear travel by the rear glass...

As for the confort, I am 6'6" and I guess just have gotten used to it... Sure feels better than any other vehicle for long periods of time. My $0.02.
