I've always preferred GMPP. We've had a few aftermarket warranties on some work trucks at our business, and they have been alright, but they always seem to not cover as much as the GMPP does. For any personal GM vehicle I have owned I've always purchased GMPP & have had zero issues on coverage.

i just looked on their website and it says so qualify for GMPP you must still be in your factory warranty. am i looking in the wrong spot or should i just call. i am long out of my factory warranty so i need something that i can buy now.

I can tell you to stay away from United Car Care, I purchased an extended warranty from them, and when it's time for service, they have a list of reasons not to pay out, starting with bigger than stock tires. You name it, they have an excuse not to cover it.

I bought GMPP from Bob Pion auto mall. Much cheaper for full coverage, no deductibles, than any where else. gm-auto-mall.com

You just can't buy it directly from GMPP if you're out of warranty. You can go to your dealer or anywhere else that sells the GMPP and buy it from them; it just cost a little bit more.
