Some people use this combo, but why would you not run a Suncoast converter with the Suncoast kit?

I agree. Same with ATS.
If there is a need to have a tech question answered it will be easier if all coponants are frome the same company.

I won't say it's better or worse or advised, etc. But i do have this combo, and others on here do as well. They are all good parts. I will say Suncoast does have more options to tailor the convt to your ideal needs. This would be the better advantage for most I am thinking. You won't slip a 5 disk without a lot of usage and wear, but they all do that. A 5 disk "should" hold more than a 3 disk by simple physics, but i wouldn't say it's better or worse as a component. They are all good pieces and it's splitting hairs with whats better or worse with these things.

A 5 disc will not hold more than a 3 disc.

Why is that Mike? If you have more surface area and same clamping pressure you should have more holding power? Am I missing something here? Not arguing just asking.
