well i am looking for new tires. i have 285's on right now but i want taller tires but not wider. what a good tire size to get for this or is there not anything. i dont want much wider i just want a few inches taller. i think i have 33's right now so i guess i want 36's maybe.

Not sure a 36" would fit but I think Super Swamper makes a 34x10.5 or something like that.

I don't think anyone makes a 35" or taller without getting wider than 10.5"-11".

I've been wanting the same thing but haven't found a tire yet ...perhaps they don't make a 34-36" tire that's 10" wide or so. Probably a profile issue with a tire being too tall and wanting to roll off the rim or something.

Maxxis used to make a tire called the coyote.. It was advertised together with the buckshot mudder.. I looked on the Maxxis tire site, and couldn't find them now.. They offered a 36'' tall tire that was between 10 and 11 inches tall..

I found them.. National Tire and Wheel has them.. They carry a 36x10.50x16 10 ply tire in a buckshot mudder or a coyote all terrain.. The number is 1-800-847-3287.. Good luck..

Are you lifted? Or are you trying to put these on without a lift? Just curios to know what you're up to here.

Well, you could try the expensive option....

These tires are a tad over 35" and in the 285 size you have now...of course you will have to buy the wheels to go with it, but these tires have a 200,000 mi guarantee.

You could get these (http://www.intercotire.com/site32.php) in the 34X9.50 but I'm not sure you are looking for that agressive of a tire.

I've got 295x75x16 Toyo ATs. They are alittle taller than 285s. I looked around too for a narrower tire up to 35'' but not many. They are taller and not as wide as 305x70x16 but would have to go to 315x75x16 to get to 35''.
