So I plugged my V2 into the OBD port the other day after being set aside for about a month. When the LCD comes up, there is a vertical section of pixels about 1/8" wide missing. The unit was never dropped or mishandled and worked perfectly upon purchase April of this year. Over the last few days I have checked to see if it gets any better, and the amount missing or visable seems to change every time its plugged in. Is anybody else experiencing these problems? Is there anything I can do to fix it or will the unit need to be sent to EFI for repair?

I just read my warranty card and see that expires 10 days after purchase if not submitted. Looks like Im out of luck there. Any help is appreciated.

Does it do the same when plugged into USB port?
If so I say display LCD is going bad. There is someone that works on them but unsure who. Have to search here or EFILive forum to find it. I would say Cindy from EFILive will see this later and get with you on it. For now email EFILive support to get things started. Really nice people for about a 3 person company as far as I can tell. Paul, Ross, and Cindy.

Ira is the right person to contact. He has very detailed records of every unit sold, so will be able to determine if it's a warranty claim or not.

Cheers

As an update, I have emailed Ira as instructed and I think we have something worked out. Also, the display worked fine today it seems to have classified itself as a intermittent problem. Regardless, I think I will send the unit to Ira so it can be looked over for any loose connections or anything else that may need attention. Thanks for the support.
