I bought my truck about a year ago and it had air bags installed on it when i bought it, they are very nice to have by the way. Theres a compressor under the hood, and a gauge in the cab with a switch to put air in/out of the bags. My question is how much psi can the bags hold?? The gauge goes up to 100psi i think but that seems like alot. Also the system used to automatically level the truck if i had a load on it or started to jack up one side of the truck, i got a lift installed now it dont do that anymore, how come?? I did make a lift kit for the bags.

i know the firestone bag has a 100PSI operating pressure (loaded not moving) max with a 200 PSI burt pressure at 4800LB. i dont know about air lift's or panbrake bags.

You are safe at 80-100 psi. Airlift is a good brand, this is my second set in two different trucks.

just want i said. you can have a loaded PSI of 100 when sitting still. going down the road as the bag compresses it will go higher but that is ok as that is what it is suppose to do.
