Here's my dilemma, I live in Ca. and am on my third set of injectors. All between42K and 164K miles. What do I need to do to save them? I've heard that our diesel is dirty and the filter does not do a good job cleaning. I've also heard that it's not dirt but the sulfur in the diesel thats destroying the injectors. Any fuel specialist out there that can clear this up once and for all. I've only heard of chevy problems. Is ford and dodge having these problems? All answers will be greatly appreciated. I can't afford to replace my love interest yet.

There's no telling when your next set will go. The LB7 injectors were a design flaw from the very beginning. Not that GM will ever admit that.
