I have had my 2004 duramax for a year now and i just put 285's on it. Had the front end torsion bars raised up all the way and the truck rides awsome and looks a ton better. Now I am thinking about a computer chip upgrade. Need some suggestions. I don't tow frequently, but plan on getting a boat in the future. I have seen superchip, edge, and all the other and I am curious which will perform and which are junk. Also, Will I have to do anything else to the truck for these to work. I don't want to mess with it too much. IF it is going to be a hastle I will probably just leave it alone. Thanks

I think they will all perform, none of them are junk, the big question is how much performance do you want?

Most all of the power products available have lower power settings inorder to avoid other major mods....:)

I have an Edge, one of better small performance boxs out there. It's adjustable on the fly, protects tranny to a point & has the gauges on the attitude.

I did the same thing with the same tires. I started with the Hypertech and love it so far. It compensates for the tire sizes too! Ebay will have one for around $250.
