i noticed the other day that i have a leak on the rearend axle tube near the diff on the passenger side. it looks as if it has been a problem in the past because the tube has welds around it but not on the other side. the welds are now broke.:mad: any suggestions on a cause and a fix???????

Welding is a common repair for the oil leak. Sounds as though the welds were not done properly and have broken free from not enough penetration. I would grind out the welds and have someone weld the tubes correctly this time.
