I have one of these at the shop and it works great. I've had it for about eight months now and have been really happy with it, especially for the smaller fabricating jobs. It has also been a real handy tool to take to the track and doesn't take up much room.
If you're interested in a welder though I recommend you talk to "steakman"here on DP. He knows his shit. My next welder purchase will definetly be through him. Drop him a PM, I'm sure he can help you out.

Ive never mig welded before but ive done alot of stick and tig welding, this mig (http://www.millerwelds.com/products/mig/millermatic_252/) can weld up to 1/2 inch compared to the the tig that can only do 3/8 and i may need to weld that thick with what i do but since ive never mig welded im hestiant to buy this one:o:

Those 252's are awesome welders. So are the 210's. Just less power. If you can stick and Tig then mig should be a piece of cake. Just point pull the trigger and work your puddle.

We have the maxstar 150 also. Its nice cause its small and runs awesome. But dont expect to weld anything to thick with it. 3/16". Will do thicker but not so great. 1/4 is fine.
