I just want to post this message to let other owners of 2500hd trucks with a two piece drive shaft know that there is a answer the shutter when taking off under load..

I work for Napa and I can view all the technical service bulletins for our trucks and have learned that GM has recognized the problem and fixed it with replacing the two piece shaft with a one piece long aluminum shaft… so if you still have a warranty and are experiencing this problem go talk to them and they should do the swap for ya!!!… Just some info I wish I would have had. …Hope it helps someone….

I have a two piece shaft on a lifted truck. Always got the shudder. Had the lift kit dealer put on a kit that lowers the joint. Fixed the shudder problem. With a lifted truck, I would not want the one piece shaft.

I was told that will only work on extended cab trucks. If you have a crew cab, it is too long for a single peice drive line.

I have a 02' 2500HD, cc, 2wd

I have an 03 crew cab with a single driveshaft.
