Is there supposed to be a little bit of play on both the front driveshaft and the rear at the transfercase on either shaft? Checked U Joints and no play in any of them. You can press up , while lying underneath the truck , on the shaft towards the t-case and it will move slightly probably 1/8" or so , maybe less. Is this normal?

I figure there must be play in the propshaft. Could be wrong though I'm not even close to being a mechanic. Any opinions or suggestions to check would be appreciated grreatly.

Yeah I think that play is normal where it goes into the Tcase. I have play where the Ujoont connects to the flange on the rear diff. The flange is worn so now I'm kinda screwed and need to find a new one.
