I had a run-in with a log on the way home from work this morning and it put a nice dent in the passengers side door. Does anyone have any experience with paintless dent repair and it capabilities. One of the dents has a slight crease and I was wondering they could work with that. I know,:nopics:
but I would rather fix it and forget about it instead of having the reminder. Remember, if it looks like a paper bag, it could be a piece of wood!

Yep, took a street hockey puck to the side of my bed (damn neighbors kids) and dentbusters pulled her good as new. $125 and about a half hour including the fact that they shined her up good as new for me. You'd be surprised at how many bad dings they can pull.

That sucks!!

I had a bull get into my shop, he managed to get himself wedged inbetween my front drivers side quarted panel and a pallet rack. His two front feet off the ground and all of that weight on my truck, OUCH! Still haven't gotten it fixed, I tried some hot glue gun puller from eastwood, but it still doesn't look good. Haven't had the time to take it in and get it fixed right. Guy at the paintless place said they could get most of it but I would still be able to see something happened there.

Damn animals!!!!!!!-:t

got an estimate to fix the damage and it ranges from $500-680. i was hoping for about half that... at least it will be fixed right...

Such dents are quite common in slow off-road when one rolls over an end/tip of a log/piece of wood and flip it up into a side panel. Soninlaw wanted me to haul some stuff off his property and had placed short logs perpendicular to travel. Told him I didn't like it. As we moved very slowly one tried to flip up but the grnd was soft enuff and the motion ceased ~ it was standing streight up on (buried end) as we creaped away.

Is that using paintless dent repair? If so I would think that was pretty high....

No, I was told by every shop that the dent was too big and too creased to be a candidate for the paintless dent repair.
