I have a friend that has an 06 and installed a Titan fuel tank. He is setting fuel level sensor performance codes now so I want to go into his fuel system parameters and change the fuel tank capacity. I read his ecm but cannot open the fuel system parameters to change the quantity. On my 05 I can open it and I see where to change the quantity. Why cant I on the 06. Does my software need to be updated or something? Do I need to read his ecm again?

You may need to be updated. What is your current EFILive software version?
Is this a Flashcscan V1 or V2? edit: never mind this question V1 cant read canbus OBDII edit:
Is the 06 LBZ or LLY?
If Flashscan V2 then what is the bootblock version and firmware version?

Sounds like the software you are running pre-dates the 06 OS updates. You should update your software and firmware.
