Cant stand not having a permanent mounting location for the attitude and dont care for the crap that came with it from edge. From the looks, the trippin or ats overhead mount would require carving up the o-head --actually the attitude alone wont even fit in the hole provided without trimming. Haven't seen any pics of any other permanent locations yet. Im not one of those whose gonna duct tape or JB weld it into one of the o-head or center console locations, im lookin for a high quality mount like trippins that will work somewhere in my truck. Anyone come across anything yet???

I have an aftermarket sun roof ( the console is the same) installed with Trippins overhead mount. I will see if I have any pics. Pay the extra money and buy Trippin's mount. I get a lot of compliments on how clean the mount looks. You will enjoy the attitude being tilted towards you.

I just measured the opening on my factory o-head console, it is only 1 1/4" high. The attitude is 2". Tried to post pics but guess the files are to big. Probably gonna need to mount in center console somehow, couple of vendors were workin on those but haven't seen anything yet.

You sure you measuring the entire opening? If I'm not mistaken I believe the black inner piece of the console is removed.? Not sure, just a thought haven't looked at mine to see. You must have a different mount than I do.

Factory sunroofs do come with a different overhead console. It is definitely a smaller opening than the non factory sunroof trucks.

Think trippin had a mount for the center console (on the LT trucks) for the attitude. Do a search, I'm sure he was taking orders for them.
