How do you know you have no fuel at the injector? Fuel filter??? Any smoke while cranking?

Tech II or Predator.

See if actual pressure will get to commanded at WOT with no tuner in it.

When cracking a fuel line you will not see a large squirt of fuel, only a drip or so. Check to see that there is fuel at the top of the pump in the return line. If that is full check to see that you can hear a click when turning the key on, or you can leave the key on and remove the wire from the top of the pump, not the one on the side, and re-install it to hear the on/off solenoid clicking.

On an 84 6.2, start with the basics. 1) install new fuel filter, remove pink wire from top of injection pump(so engine won't start while cranking to purge air), open air bleed valve(top of filter housing), crank engine. Fuel should squirt out of air bleed valve within about 30 seconds of cranking. Does it? If no fuel is coming out of filter, replace fuel pump(low pressure mechanical). If fuel is coming out of air vent, close vent and reconnect pink wire on injection pump. Get a piece of clear 1/4 inch hose and install it in place of the short 90 degree return hose on the top of the injection pump. Crank engine, any bubbles in clear hose? Is fuel pumping through clear hose? If engine has already lost it's prime due to impropper bleeding procedures, remove air cleaner and squirt good dose of wd40 into the intake, this will help the engine start until it get fuel. 6.2's don't require loosening of injector lines to purge air from lines. It does however take a lot of cranking and the wd40 will help your starter. Let us know the results of these tests. :grd:
