I am in the process of planning to build a auxiliary in bed fuel tank. It will be made out of stainless steel so I am looking for a SS filler cap and/or filler neck that can be welded on. Are there any vendors that sell a good looking product, or does anyone have any other suggestions of fabricating one. I have seen some that bolt on, but would rather weld one on and be done with it. Thanks guys any advice is appreciated.

I planned on building one also, until I priced out the metal and figured in my time. Was more cost effective to buy one, plus for $450 it included the DOT placard. If you haul commercial or even not DOT can nit pick little things like that. Anyway, it sounds like a fun project if you have the time.
