I like Cognito. I run the 7-9 set at 7" with Deaver springs in the rear and it's got nice stock cv angles, rides amazing. Check garage.

You will get someone that will reply with every different lift kit. Your better off reading a TON on here and deciding for yourself.

How tall do you want it?
Do you want cast or fabbed knuckles?
How much cutting and welding do you want to do?
Do you want to be able to put it back to stock if needed?
Do you want a basic kit or do you want an entire package with a-arms, new rear springs, etc....?
What is the budget?

a few questions. How much clearance do you want between your tires and fenders? what kind of driving are you going to be doing with it?

I ran 315's which are pretty much a 35'' tire under my last truck (06' 2500) with just a torsion crank and a block in the rear. I wasn't using my truck for serious 4X4'n but did take it off road for camping in the rockies and work. Here's a few pics of my truck.

like MAX4X4 said, everybody is goin to say a different lift. a 4 inch kit will most likely clear 35's. i have the 4 inch tuff country on my 08 and i know it will fit 35 but i keep 33's on for the milage and a few track visits. the cognito is probably the best kit out there but it is also pricey. i paid 1270 with free shipping for my lift and i love it. back end is a little bouncy but i run my traction bars on all the time. Ran a fabtech on my 04 1/4 ton and loved it. I have been told by a few people that i trust to stay away from the pro comp kit( nothing against the guys runnin it. i wish you all the best of luck). to many fram modifications. hope this gives you a good idea of what your lookin for. i could keep goin but don't want to right a book. good luck and take it east

I love the 7" BDS kit. But If it were in the budget at the time I would have done a 7"-9" Cognito. It depends on your budget.

the only trimming I did was to the front valence which is easily replaceable if need be. All other mods ( tie back ebrake cable, longer front lower shock mounts, longer rear U-bolts) are simple "return to stock" mods. No cutting of sheet metal, frame, etc. Some claim this lift is MUCH harder on front suspension but I never had one issue the whole time I had the truck plus it sounds like your doing mostly the same driving as I did. This is by far the least expensive way you can go to get larger tires under your truck

I Agree! That 7-9 set at 7 with 35's is the Ticket!!!

With me its all about Axel Angle and getting enough tire under the truck to Improve the ride!!!

Not many people go back down, seems most want to go up if anything and with the 7-9 thats not a problem.....

I don't think Leo's will have a Problem with the 7-9 set on 7 with 35's

me myself i plan to got with the Same set up as Max4X4 ,only Problem, i'll prolly have to do the Install myself ....
