I have a '93 K3500 with 5 speed manual tranny. Recently it does not always want to turn over in the mornings. I try a couple of times and it will start once I get it to turn over. Once it stats in the morning, I can start it multiple times during the day and it will be fine. It almost acts like it is temperature sensitive...

If I hold the key in the start position and move the clutch pedal I can hear the lift pump kick on and off. I think this means the clutch safety switch it OK?

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Things to look at:
Battery connections/cable terminals
tightness of the lead on the starter solenoid
