03 back in the shop for injectors. First injector replaced at 12000 miles. Took it to dealer on May 2nd for what sounded like to me to be a fuel knock noise. I apparently didn't know what I was talking about because the non diesel tech could not find anything wrong. On May 12th I was on my way to the closing on my new house when I heard a really bad knock and saw black smoke pouring out of the tail pipe. It kinda sounds like when a gas engine has a rod bearing come out. Now at 59000 miles another injector.Censored

Probably better for you...now you'll get 8 new injectors instead of one at a time, like the old policy.

Hopefully he won't get re-manufactured old ones.....Censored

Good luck I have gone through 18 so far on my 2002 and it started at 800 miles and is still going on at 46000! GM said it just this truck and i must be getting bad fuel
