i dont have any experence so i can be wrong but i think there gonna be about equal with difficulty of installation and performance.. not sure on metal types but im sure if there different types of metal then there will be a different sound.. can someone else back me up or tell me otherwise cuz i would like to know as well

I've seen pics of the MBRP piece and it's coated and not wrapped like DE. But I also hear it can be slipped in from the top. 3" diameter.

Niether can come in from the top. If you have the turbo or egr cooler still on the truck. The MBRP is said to have no issues with the dipstick, but I have not installed a MBRP unit.

I dont think you can make a wrong decision here. If you want one now, the only solution is the Diamond Eye pipe. The MBRP pipe should be available in 30 days or so.
