I looked up the Bakflip HD tonneau covers. They sure look like nice bed covers. Do they fit our duallys, or no? Thanks fellas.

I looked into the Bak Flip, I hear they leak.

I have the Extang Solid Fold, it works great. Buy it a www.got-chrome.com it is about $200.00 less then anyone else.

Also check out "Retrax". No leaks here, but make sure installer puts it right up to the tailgate.

Thanks guys. I ordered a Retrax this morning. I read so many good things about them. Also read that they were a pretty easy install.

I did. Took it back earlier this week. Complete nightmare to install, didn't fit right. Installation instuctions were all wrong, beginning with saying to use a flathead screwdriver and pry up the stake hole covers. Turns out there are no stake hole covers. How come the folks at Roll N Lock don't know this?! I thought, no prob, I'll just move on. Then it states to mount side support brackets equal in height to bed rails. Absolutely impossible. Cannot be done without modifications. So now I'm kinda discusted, but still I continue. Things got worse, in the end, 4 hours later, I finally removed and was happy to return it. I know they work well for some dually owners, but for me it didn't.

Well see how the Retrax works. I like how it uses rollers with bearings and has no spring. I called and told Randy of my experience. He said that that Roll N Loc was another company that makes a few models, and tried to adapt them to every truck made. He stated that I would have no problems with the Retrax, a perfect fit, and easy to install. I've got my fingers crossed... ;)

I have the backflip on my 2500.
I have so far had it replaced (with a fight between the dealer and backflip) under warranty, both the original and the replacement leak at the tailgate, and the front corners. This is in a carwash, real rainstorms with driving down the road means the ENTIRE bed is wet. I am putting luggage in oversize garbage bags, then in the bed. Only real upside is the bed on the 08 2500 is locking, and whatever is in there is out of sight and (more or less) secure. When it (I assume) fails in the fall, I don't know what I as going to replace it with.

Oh, that sucks! I had the company that I bought mine from install it. It was much easier since they have done it a bunch of times. It fits perfect too.
