Unfortunately we must stop RVing and sell our rig! I have a “mint” 2002 Chevy Duramax diesel, 4x4, crew cab, dually with a 2 1/2” complete Reese extra heavy duty towing setup that would pass for brand new on the lot (50k miles) for $31,000 (Blue Book $33,375) Does anyone have any suggestions for an online place that specializes in selling diesel pickups for people that know there value?

Also I just bought a 2005 Arctic Fox 30U recently and I love it! We used it for a two week trip and it’s in “better than brand new condition”! Arctic Fox trailers are already loaded with most everything you’d want, but we added the following extra cost accessories: Northern Breeze Power Vent, three MaxAir roof vents, Atwood Electric Jack, 27” Flat Screen TV, DVD Player, VCR, 13” AC/DC TV/VCR in bedroom. $35,000 invested! Selling it for $27,950.00.

I also have a “super clean” 2002 Lance hard side camper with slideout and generator we were using on the diesel pickup just before I bought the trailer for sale at $18,950!

I keep all my equipment in perfectly maintained!
Suggestions for an online service to sell my equipment?

dave-

if you are the original owner of your truck, i would recommend giving ebay a whirl.... i just sold a 2000 tahoe on ebay. i'm certain i got a premium because i was original owner and it was in perfect condition. i offered the bidders the opportunity to call the service shops that it was in. trade-in was 14,500, private party blue book was 17,500. i was hoping to get over 16k, and the auction finished at 18,350 in the final minutes with 4 aggressive bidders.

i bought my duramax on ebay too, and bidding was tough.... a few got away before i hit a buy-it-now.

here is the listing for the tahoe i sold. i think the key was giving plenty of information and that i was the original owner and encouraged people to call me directly. the real bonus.... even though i encouraged anyone to come see it, NOT 1 person came to my house... only a transport truck when the dust settled. i even offered to bring it to any inspection, but did not have to do that. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=4542882246&sspagename=STRK%3AMESO%3AIT

good luck.

Dave, as Monkey said, I would take a lot of pictures and post them. I have sold and bought on e-bay and information and good photos are key. Also try and sell the RV on e-bay, you wil be surprised, as people are looking for clean trailers from individuals. Goodluck
