I just changed my pre-oem fuel filter and cut it open. Does this look like its at the maximum of its life? It has 13,000 miles on the pre-oem and oem fuel filter. so since I changed just the pre filter then it should be fine to not have to touch the OEM fuel filter untill the next change which will be the pre, and the OEM. Correct?

Looks better than mine at 15000 miles. I change them looking like that.

The only way to know is to cut open the stocker. Telling us you have a pre filter setup doesn't tell us much, but with the Cat a lot of us use you can do it every other.

I would say that filter did its job and is near the end of its usefulness.

It seems to have some life remaining. I've had some twice that dirty with no measurable pressure drop across it. This filter is way overkill for our engine and should last somewhat longer than the OEM which is speced to change out at 15K. Although one unknown is how dirty the fuel is you're running through it. So life by miles is a guess.
Looks pretty dirty to me, especially after only 13k miles. How many GPH do you run through it?
