The [-]"Cocker"[/-] kit / Now is the "tuckerdog" truck:)

Not sure how many of you read all the threads but there are 2 members that have been joking back and forth with each other and this was the name they came up with for 1 of there truck builds. 1 guy is "Copter" and the other that is the new owner of this truck, "tuckerdog". Tuckerdog has owned a hand full of Chevy's and a few years back he contacted us about product for one and sense has had us ship out packages for each of his new trucks. This one he happened to purchase from another member not far from us so before the truck gets shipped to TX. he has us doing some suspension work to it.

She is on the rack !!!!

There she is. The good old Cocker kit better be a good rider.:D Copter is the one who got me started on this stuff. His LBZ has always been my favorite truck. I copied it with my white one, but I still liked his better. It isn't over done, but it sure does sit well, and I bet it hauls ass with my twins on there plus the hair dryer.

I bought this LMM from Jody on the forum. This was about as easy as it got, and he went out of his way to bring the truck to Nick for me. Jody, thanks again for everything.

Nick, I keep coming back because you are honest to a fault on this stuff, and I consider you more a friend than someone hocking truck parts. I call wanting to spend more money, and you pulled me back and said this is what I need. I guess it says something for my trust in you and Norcal in sending a truck I have never seen directly to you to for you to tear in to. You guys have always been first class to me, and you will always have my business.

I can't wait to see it start taking shape. This will be my first twin turbo truck, so I am actually pretty excited about getting her home....ON TIME.:D:D:D

Bring on the pictures.http://www.viperforums.net/forums/images/smilies/hdbng3_smiley.gif

My other truck had the 7-9. The other one has a 4-6. The other one had a level. The other just steering goodies and a lowered level. Another LBZ had a 4-6 set at 6. My last LMM had a 2" drop. And the worst of the bunch had a 6" RCD, oh hell and a 6" Superlift that rode like a brick wagon.

I like the sporty look of the four, and it still is practical for parking garages etc...I fly too damn much to go big again. I will never run another lift outside of Cognito unless Nick suggests otherwise. He has never steered me wrong on this stuff.

Bingo. I don't have the patience for liberals, so California is definitely not the place for me. What caused the massive delay in getting this thing shipped is the mass exodus out of California. Truckers are packed with people fleeing that State, and for good reason.

The truck just got here, and WOW. This thing pulls like mad at all speeds, and it rides incredibly. Nick, the work you did on her is perfect. Perfect stance for my needs. More later....going to go drive some more.:D

Jody, if you are watching, you are one anal bastard. This thing is cleaner than a new truck. 200% satisfied with it.

Thanks. This thing is a ton of fun. Power comes on very smooth and the ride is perfect. The MPI twins are a work of art.

Nick, thanks for talking me in to the four inch kit. This thing rides perfectly, and sporty at the same time.

I'm really glad. It was a true daily driver, but I tried to keep it nice. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

By the way, a bigger tune runs even harder....................... ;) I can send you a copy of what I ran for my race tune with the 4" exhaust. Pulls noticeably harder than what's in there now.

Im not sure what tuning Jody was running in his truck with the twins, but you may want to give Idaho Rob a call and get some tuning from him. Thats what I run and they are sweet. His street tune pulls pretty hard and you can still tow with it. His race tune will light my 38's up going 40 MPH, and thats with 3.73 gears, it nuts.

I started with Robs tuning too. I tweaked from there. The current tune in the truck is hotter than Robs street tune, but milder than his race tune. I also have a modded race tune that really runs strong, but I backed off on running that one daily; it was black-tracking the tires at wot, wiggled quite a bit like the rear tires were real low on pressure when I'd go wot to pass a slower car................ Started to think that was a bit much for daily driving.............. :D

You are correct, Rob has the tuning dialed on these MPI twins.

What I love about the tune Jody has in the truck is the lack of smoke. There is none. This is thing is ultra quiet. You just hear the turbo's.

I almost feel guilty for driving this thing daily. It is absolutely perfect.
