I have an 02 3500 with following upgrades
Edge Juice w/attitude
AEM Brute intake
Magnaflow 4" exhaust.

I recently took it to a dyno and put down 418RWH but they could not get a reading on the torque.
Where do you guys with similar set ups think I should be?

Thanks

That is what I was thinking.
I also have a Hypertech that I could stack on there.
Would that increase the #'s

418rwhp? that doesn't sound right. not for the mods listed.

The Edge/Attitude is under rated IMO. These numbers are consistant with what I've seen. Just my $.02

If you dyno it in each stage it gives you exact rwhp that it offers

I did 3 pulls Stock, Stage 3(+75HP) and Stage 5(+125HP)

Pull 1 - 270 / 485
Pull 2 - 345 / 685
Pull 3 - 395 / 750

Maybe it is, I was just going by some hot juice numbers. I thought with the hot putting out 435rwhp that was overacheiving at that & the 120 tune was on par with listed Hp.

MaddDogg, is your truck 2wd or 4wd?

The hot juice is underrated but the regular juice is pretty close. Those numbers seem a bit high but dyno numbers can fluctuate quite a bit. I dynoed 30HP or so lower at an event than I did the weekend before(same stuff on the truck). A stock trans will not like 400+ HP either. I would stick to no more than a 90hp level unloaded. (in the 340 ish range) I doubt you could make 1 WOT pass through the gears on 400+ hp without limpage

Your stock numbers are about the highest I have read about. 240`s to maybe 260 or so are what most see.If you dyno it in each stage it gives you exact rwhp that it offers

Good to see another Dyno Dynamics Dyno:ro)
Very nice piece of Kit indeed.

Did the operator show the load down feature? It can damn near stop my truck at WOT! The electric motors get a bit warm though!

at WOT (Wide open throttle) the operator can actually increase the load using that dyno to simulate towing a load and make my truck DOWNSHIFT to 4th and 3rd gear if they got to max retarding power!

Gotta be a little tough on components though

IIRC if it is the 450 TWIN like at PDR it is 1600 or 1800 HP

Dumb question. Would the 270hp come from exhaust & air intake, that's if you have them on.

Intakes make very little if any difference on a dyno due to the fact that they can't get anymore air then a stock intake gets. An exhaust can make a small difference, but not 30 hp like some manufactures claim. It probably more like 5 extra horsepower.

You see more of a difference at the track with intake and exhaust then you do on a dyno.

Well then, how about correction factor?

If you want to know Torque, and have HP and RPMs at that HP, you can back calculate torque, but max torque and max HP are probably not at the same RPM. If you have a HP curve, you can get max torque through some back calculating along the curve and get pretty close.

o i know im just sayin thats whut it hit on the top which is good off the line
