I bought my wife a 2004 4 wheel drive suburban a few months ago that came with 16 inch wheels. It is also equipped with wheel sensors which will trip a "SERVICE TIRE MONITER" on the info center (odometer) when something is wrong with the tires such as low pressure, etc.... I had the dealer replace the 16 inch rims with 17 inch rims and tires from a 2004 Z71, however they forgot to put the wheel sensors on the rims so now, everytime we start the vehicle, the service tire moniter is flashing. The old sensors are gone and new ones cost a fortune. Is there a fuse or something that can be pulled to shut off the service tire moniter.

Thanks

The only way to remove the message is to put the sensors back in. It is a federal law to have the monitoring system so GM can't disable it. If the dealer did the wheel swap they should have known this and should be liable for fixing it.
