Hey guys I just got a new set of Goodyear Silent Armor (pro) and so far I love them...The next day it rained and they preformed awesome in the rain...great traction..A+++++..I had b/f all terrain and they we good tires..I got like around 50000 miles on them...they were pretty worn..Also I had new bilstein but didnt notice the difference probably because the tires were bad but now ....WHAT A RIDE...very impressed with the shocks and the new tires....I will post pics later...

i love the silent armor tires its one of my favorite tires to sell
they are rugged with kevlar in the tread yet very very quiet with a good sidewall
good choice congrats on the purchase

I've had mine for a long time now and have nothing but good reviews, I think I might try the new duratrac next.

Glad to see someone posting on the S/A's. Currently debating on the S/A's or the new Duratrac. For tire mileage, ride quality and mpg, I am probably going with the S/A's. Also here in ND, a lot of people have said they are awesome on snow and ice.
Good luck with your new tires.

for what you want out of a tire the s/a's sound like a perfect match for you

I am on my second set of s/a's and I have 16,000 miles on the truck. The first set wore more than half the tread off in 5000 miles (first rotation) with normal driving. I am not a hotrod. The GY dealer said it was a bad batch and gave me a brand new set under warranty and I am sad to say these are wearing just as bad and he has me rotate every 3000 miles. I am about to take it in for rotation and I'm interested as to what he is going to say when he see's this set. They are worn more than half with 6000 miles on them.
I like the tire but am very disappointed in them. I have always been a Goodyear fan. Good thing for the 50000 mile warranty on (Professional tires) from Goodyear. I do not tow anthing heavy. I run about 60 miles a day back and forth to work some city driving but mostly country.

I will be due for a new set before winter, current set has just over 81,000 miles on them, with slightly below 1/4" tread left.
My experience has been long tread life and very good traction in ice and snow.

No complaints here! I have about 6000 miles on my set and they have been great! Have had a little trouble with balancing, but I think that was more due to the shop that mounted them not knowing how to balance than a problem with the tires. I'm anxious to try them in the snow this winter (but not anxious for winter to come!).

I'm up to 47,000 on them now.
I like how quiet they are for an all-terrain.

I have 55,000 kms on mine, got them a year and a half ago. They do have nice manners on and off road. Bit disappointed with the wear though. I have 8-9/32 left on them, and I don't think I will see 100K kms. I had a set of workhorses on before (came with the truck) that had a bout 50% left and I got 51,000 kms of service out of them. Had no issues with them either, just a bit louder on the highway. Mileage is the same as well. All in all the S/A's are pretty decent, I have had them in pretty well every situation you can imagine (mud, snow, ice, gumbo, highway, gravel) and they are solid all around.
