I have been thinking of adding the OEM fog and clearance lights to my HD. I had an auto body shop here in town quote me install on both. They quoted me 425 bucks todo the clearance lights and 125 to do the fog lights. They said that the reason the clearance lights were so much is because GM doesn't sell a kit so everything would be have to be bought individualy. I have seen kit's for the lights, but I'm not 100% sure as to what all is included in them. I have also seen OEM kits for the fog lights on ebay for 90 bucks. I figured that if I got one of those kits and found a good set of clearnce lights that might knock down some of the price. I am decent when it comes to installin stuff so I might be able to do the fog lights, but I am no where near comfortable enough to drill holes in the roof. With my luck I would get about 6 extra holes or something.

I never dreamed I would ever have the nerve to drill holes in my roof either, until I read this post (http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4434&highlight=cab+light). If I can install them, you can too.

Even though I had OEM lights, Kit came with wiring harness, fasteners etc. for a new installation.

William, when I bought my truck it did not come with the roof marker lamps and I really wanted them so I had the dealer install them for around $400. The parts are around $250 alone (all parts individually), so for $150 labor I let them do it for my piece of mind since I don't have the nerve to drill holes on the roof. I felt it is well worth it and loves the look of my rig with marker lamps. Either way, go for it! ;)

I had mine installed by a local truck parts place only because I hadn't found this place yet, or I would have done it myself, but they only charged 150 I think with install for aftermarket lights. Cant tell the differnce from factory.
