Does anyone know if the dually rim's can be removed and a large single rim with a slick be added?

Does anyone know what the proper offset should be or what rim part # would work?

A nice 12" wide slick should fit in the wheel well no problem, but what rim would work with the rear axle on a Dually?

Yes you can, but I don't know offset or anything. IIRC there was a truck in that new diesel truck mag with one you might PM someone that got the mag to see if there was any info.

I did some searching and did not find a wheel tire combo that would be "off-the-shelf".

First start with the tire, then do the wheel. Worst case is you wil have to have custom rims made.

They used to be available in the 1980's when "slammed" duallies were in fashion. Now? It will be harder to find. Especially if you are not willing to go down to 15" rims, which involves modifying the brakes.

PS - If it's for "drag only" and you aren't worried about looks, you can run a 16"x10" rim with a 12" slick and it will fit. But for the "look" you'll want a wider tire/rim.

I checked into this a little while back.. I think it's Rickson wheel that can make them.. A couple guys from Lujan Motorsports in Miami have them.. If I remember correctly, price was in the mid to upper two hundred range per wheel.. 245-275.. Give them a call and they'll let ya know..
