Just brought home a new Roll N Lock roll up bed cover. Looking at the installation instructions, first thing it says to do for the dually is to remove the two front and two rear stake pocket covers.
Well I took a flatblade screwdriver and tried to pry them up, but I can see I'm gonna do some damage in the process to the rail covers.
After the Roll N Lock is installed, it says to re-install the pocket covers.
But how do I get them off?
Thanks fellas.

If you are talking about the bed rail caps that are black plastic on the dually all you do is pull up on the front corner and work your way towards the rear where I think there is 1 bolt one each side.
I just got new ones and though I was going to destroy the old one but they just pulled right off with no braking at all.
Not saying yours won't crack or brake but mine sure didn't.
Oh by the way mine is a 2006 and I see yours is a 2008 so it may be a bit different.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I was talking about the stake hole covers, but your reply made me think to just lift the whole railcap. Turns out, for others who might want to know, those stake hole covers in the rail covers on an LMM dually are just outlines in the plastic. There really is no stake cover there that you could pop out, you would have to cut them out.

I was just about to say that!
